The Man Who Lost His Religion and Found God

The moment Dennis Shipman truly lost his religion, he found God. It happened--quietly, powerfully, blissfully--at work.

It happened in a way that for centuries Christian Mystics have referred to as "Oneness with God"--a profound, life-transforming encounter of inner Light and endless Love. In his new book, Radiant Light, Boundless Love, Dennis describes this turning point in his life, and emphatically declares, "We do not need religious dogma to find and know God"

As a former Catholic who attended parochial schools in Southern California, Dennis didn't grow up thinking someday he might confront entrenched Christian dogma with a revolutionary message Jesus once delivered: "God is found within us--in our hearts and minds as Light and Love."

Eventually, he knew he would have to expose Christianity's nearly 2,000 year old conspiracy, and explain that the original teachings of Jesus have been misrepresented by a fear-based religion. He confronts religious totalitarianism in what he calls "The Great Heresy of Christianity."

This ‘heresy' is exposed as the misrepresentation of the nature of God and the ‘kingdom of heaven'. The great saints of the Catholic Church: St. John of the Cross, St. Augustine, and St. Theresa of Liseaux, for example, all found themselves to be one with God and Christ in an Inner Light experience. Why then are we kept flip-flopping from a sense of sin to a sense of virtue, by rigid rules which no one can live up to?

If our real nature is Divine, why not pursue it? Dennis proposes we pursue Oneness, and leave behind our separatist Christian Dogmas. This requires, however, each person to think for themselves, experience for themselves, for the world seeks to drag us down into the sense of being separate from Christ, when--in truth--we are all Christs in gestation.

This book should be nailed to the door of every Christian Church. The New Reformation is within. It's time we accept it. From the book: "The abusive dynamics of this ‘authority- follower' cult over the past two millenniums has given rise to the present state of religious totalitarianism. The Roman Catholic Church calls itself the 'Mystical Body of Christ', and claims that all spiritual knowledge is revealed through the Church, not through the individual. They have it upside down." This is true of almost all forms of codified Christiantity.

Dennis tells the story of how he came to be reborn to God within himself. How he had a sudden awakening in which his desire for God was completely fulfilled. How he struggled through and overcame an addictive personality, and allowed the mystical vision of Oneness to completely transform his life. How meditation is a great key for those who truly seek God. How life is based on the Law of Love and not fear.

Dennis shares keys that have aided him in his quest for ultimate Unity in his "Inner Light Training Program" How to meditate in harmony with Christ's true intent. How to cultivate the ‘Presence of God'. How to overcome fears and separatism. In truth, this book is a complete manual for returning home to Light and Love (God). Reading it, you will feel the power of the Ultimate Experience we all can attain, and experience what it is like to be rhapsodically in love with God. Don't miss the experience--you can't return home without it.
