Common Integration Area in the brain (CIA)
Tap behind both ears and test. If either is weak, click the category.
- Fixation. Hold a black piece of paper (or object) over head and test.
- Cranials. To test: place edge of hand over suture line, going straight up from top of ears.
- Hiatal Hernia. To test, point all fingers onto the lower sternum.
- Ileocecal Valve. To test, place palm down over the valve (one inch up from a line between hip bone and pubic bone). This is for a stuck shut valve. Use palm up for stuck open.
- Houston Valve. To test stuck shut, palm down over abdomen, left kidney area (kink in colon). Stuck open--palm up
- Atlas. To test: place edge of hand at the top of the back of the neck, where the skull joins neck.
- Axis. To test: place edge of hand on back of neck (parallel to floor) one inch below where the kneck meets the skull.
- Temporal-Mandibular Joint (TMJ). To test: cup fingers together of the joint in front of the ear. Test both sides, with open and closed mouth for interior and exterior muscles.
